WHAT EXACTLY IS COACHING?
So, before I can answer what coaching IS, let's begin with what coaching IS NOT...
Coaching is NOT therapy, mentoring of counseling. While ALL of these have their place for healing and growth, coaching specifically focuses on your present reality and how to set eyes toward the future. Coaching will NOT diagnose any medical issues and we are not medical professionals. Coaches do not provide advice or tell you what to do, yet they offer powerful insight into your own personal power.
Coaching IS a method that stays rooted in the present moment and allows the client to ALWAYS be in charge of where the session will go. We will partner together to help maximize your full human potential, gain clarity to help identify goals, create actions toward those goals and help you hold yourself accountable. Coaches ask POWERFUL questions that allow you to truly witness the power within yourself, help recognize certain “limiting beliefs” and overcome obstacles that stand in your way.

Benefits of coaching vary from topic to topic but some successful sessions can include:

HOW LONG WILL I HAVE TO COACH IN ORDER TO RECEIVE THE BENEFITS ABOVE.
Coaching benefits will again always depend on the topic. Coaching begins its magic after the first session, and while most topics take multiple sessions, it is possible to receive a range of benefits in one session. That being said, the majority of clients benefit from long term package sessions ranging from 6 to 12 sessions.
WHAT DOES A NORMAL COACHING SESSION LOOK LIKE?
Every coaching session will vary topic to topic but as your coach I will ALWAYS make sure you show up in a safe, comfortable space.
Everything that is said stays 100% confidential and you’re ALWAYS in charge of where you’d like the conversation to go.
We will always begin our sessions by making sure you have everything you need to be present I can offer short guided presencing if you feel that can also serve you. I will begin by asking you what you would like to discuss and then what a successful outcome would look like to you.
During our session we will explore all the thoughts and feelings around your topic/goal.
I do occasionally ask if you would like to use embodiment techniques to allow your body to talk to you. Embodiment is a meta-competency that has shown to bring new perspectives and clarity into your awareness. This can be an extremely useful tool for identifying obstacles and limiting beliefs that may be holding you back form reaching your full potential.
We will explore what resources you have to be able to put some solid actions plans into effect. I will be there every step of the way to make sure you are able to leave the session with brand new eyes and insightful wisdom!
